I’m a rising junior at the University of Iowa, working towards a Bachelor of Arts in Informatics and Art. Right now, I’m gaining hands-on experience as a Web Content Administrator & Editor for the university. My main focus has been migrating old department websites to new ones, which has taught me a lot about web content hierarchy and how user engagement can influence the impact of these changes. I’ve been particularly interested in understanding what motivates users and how it shapes their experience.
My passion for design and user experience has its roots in art. I grew up with a Wacom tablet and a constant drive to illustrate. Lately, I’ve channeled this creativity into crocheting, where I’ve been experimenting with creating my own patterns to enhance the functionality and overall user experience of my projects.
